  • ARREST -- At 12:03 a.m. on Shell Avenue, a 23-year-old woman and a 30-year-old man were arrested on suspicion of possession of a controlled substance.

  • FRAUD -- At 8:24 a.m., a caller on Yale Street reported receiving a telephone call from a person pretending to be from the IRS requesting money.

  • PETTY THEFT -- A petty theft was reported at 8:52 a.m. on Talbart Street.

  • BURGLARY -- It was reported at 7:25 a.m. that a work vehicle was burglarized on Holiday Hills Drive.

  • PETTY THEFT -- At 6:09 p.m., a 21-year-old-woman was arrested on suspicion of petty theft at an Arnold Drive business.

    SATURDAY, AUG. 23

  • MISCELLANEOUS DISTURBANCE -- A 21-year-old-man was arrested on suspicion of being under the influence of a controlled substance and possession of drug paraphernalia at 9:53 a.m. on Center Avenue.

  • VANDALISM -- Two vehicles were reported keyed at 10:58 a.m. on Center Avenue.

  • PETTY THEFT -- It was reported at 2:43 p.m. that a 27-year-old-woman was arrested on suspicion of theft of DVDs at a business on Arnold Drive.

    SUNDAY, AUG. 24

  • DUI -- At 2:35 a.m., a 34-year-old-woman was arrested on suspicion of driving under the influence on Morello Avenue.

  • PETTY THEFT -- It was reported at 8:20 a.m. that both license plates of a vehicle on Francis Drive were stolen.

  • BURGLARY -- An unlocked vehicle on Sterling Drive was reported burglarized at 9:03 a.m.

  • VANDALISM -- It was reported at 11:08 a.m. that a mailbox was knocked off its base on Alhambra Avenue.

  • FRAUD -- On Center Avenue at 5:34 p.m., a woman purchased merchandise with a stolen credit card in the amounts of $143.01 and $43.90.

  • BURGLARY -- It was reported at 10:54 p.m. that the front door of a residence on Orchard View Avenue was found unlocked and items were missing.

    MONDAY, AUG. 25

  • BURGLARY -- It was reported at 1:57 p.m. that the lock of a shed at the marina on Tarantino Drive was removed.

  • FRAUD -- At 2:05 p.m., a caller reported that someone took $640 from her account after she used an ATM on Arnold Drive.

  • FRAUD -- A caller from Morello Heights Circle reported at 3:59 p.m. that after depositing a check, it was determined the check was fraudulent.

    TUESDAY, AUG. 26

  • VEHICLE THEFT -- It was reported at 2:22 a.m. that a 21-year-old-man was arrested on suspicion of vehicle theft at Franklin Canyon Road and Alhambra Avenue.

  • BURGLARY -- It was reported at 5:37 a.m. that the ignition column of an unlocked vehicle on Pine Street was damaged. Registration and insurance documents and other miscellaneous items were taken.

  • SUSPICIOUS CIRCUMSTANCES -- At 10:45 a.m., a 21-year-old-man was arrested on suspicion of trespass at an Arnold Drive business, and a 23-year-old woman was arrested on suspicion of petty theft.

  • PETTY THEFT -- It was reported at 2:09 p.m. that a laptop was stolen on F Street.

  • FRAUD -- At 10:39 a.m., a caller on Raap Avenue reported that someone opened an unemployment account using the caller's personal identification.
