Monday, July 23

  • 1:10 p.m. -- Grand Avenue. A caller reported fraudulent checks.

    Tuesday, July 24

  • 6:53 a.m. -- Rose Avenue. Two bicycles were reported stolen from a garage in what police have classified as a burglary.

    Wednesday, July 25

  • 11:23 a.m. -- Sunnyside Avenue. Identity theft was reported.

  • 11:28 a.m. -- Greenbank Avenue. Someone smashed a vehicle window, police said.

    Thursday, July 26

  • 12:13 a.m. -- Grand and Arroyo avenues. Police recovered a wallet stolen from a vehicle parked on York Drive. Police also said a man reportedly was seen acting suspiciously near where the wallet was found.

  • 6:59 a.m. -- Ronada Avenue. An inflatable boat and a phone charger were reported stolen from an unlocked vehicle, police said.

    Friday, July 27

  • 9:22 p.m. -- Monte Vista Avenue. Police assisted Oakland officers investigate a vehicle that was possibly connected with a robbery case.

  • 12:26 p.m. -- Harvard Road. A bicycle theft was reported.

    Sunday, July 29

  • 1:37 a.m. -- Grand Avenue. Police arrested a motorist on suspicion of drunken driving. A motorist was also arrested about an hour later on Moraga Avenue on suspicion of the same offense following a hit-and-run traffic collision.
