Saklan School welcomes new school leader

Hans Peter Metzger has been named new Head of School of The Saklan School in Moraga.

Metzger was previously Head of School at the German American International School in Menlo Park. Before that, he was director of the Udine International School and director of the International School of Trieste in Italy.

Families needed to host international students

The International Education Center at Diablo Valley College is looking for families to host international students on a temporary basis while they improve their English skills. All students speak basic English.

Participating families are paid a monthly stipend of $750 per student.
