I am a 49er season ticket holder. I paid $60,000 for two seat licenses, $7,000 for two season tickets, and now they want $500 for a season parking pass in the Green lot. I was debt-free two Januarys ago and took out a loan on my house to be a 49er fan.

San Carlos

A Whoa. This comes out to $67,500. Colin Kaepernick, could you spare some pocket change for this man?

Q I live in San Carlos and I can't find info for my options to get to Levi's Stadium. Can VTA handle the Caltrain load? Will there be a 49er-bound bus leaving San Carlos?

Richard Haars

A Fans attending events at the new stadium have a number of ways to get there car-free. Go to www.vta.org/levisstadium or www.levisstadium.com/getting-here/public-transportation.

Coming from San Mateo County, hop on Caltrain and switch to light rail at the downtown Mountain View station. VTA will run 80 light-rail cars on game days instead of the usual 20 on the weekend. And 78 extra buses will be available as backups, with 10 articulated buses positioned in Mountain View to carry extra passengers. For Levi's Stadium, just get off at the Great America station and cross the street.

VTA and Caltrain will offer a joint fare that would allow passengers to add on the cost of a $6 VTA day pass to a round-trip Caltrain fare. Caltrain riders can purchase the VTA fare when they buy their tickets, allowing fans to make a smoother transition between the two systems.

VTA will also provide a mobile ticketing app to let users buy their tickets and show fares to inspectors on their mobile devices.

Q Will there be bus service from the Fremont BART stop to Levi's Stadium? ... Can South Bay 49er fans catch a bus and go directly to the new stadium?

Frank Welch and more

A Yes. There will be five game-day express routes to and from the stadium, including Line 251, which will operate every 20 minutes from Fremont BART to Great America Parkway, line 252 from Vallco, Line 253 in Gilroy, Line 254 from Eastridge and Line 255 in Almaden.

Q What in the world is going on around Tasman Drive and Patrick Henry? For some time, the light-rail area has been torn up. ... Unfortunately, I live about a block away and am subject to the constant banging, crashing, drilling and other assorted fun times, which is interrupting the sleeping patterns for my family from 10 p.m. to 2 a.m. I would like to extend an invitation to you to hang out at my house between these hours to experience my predicament. I have chips and guacamole at your disposal, and my wife makes a lovely casserole.

Tom Hatley and Charlie McKellar

A It's tempting, but Mrs. Roadshow doesn't allow me out late at night. The VTA is building a third light-rail track on Tasman between Old Ironsides and Patrick Henry to handle future service for BART and Levi's Stadium.
