Senior running back Lorenzo Logwood had 122 yards on 29 carries and scored two touchdowns as the host St. Mary's High football team earned a 28-7 Tri-County Athletic League-Rock Division victory over St. Patrick-St. Vincent on Saturday.

Logwood's play on offense down the stretch was instrumental. With St. Mary's (5-3, 2-2 TCAL-Rock) leading 14-7 in the fourth quarter, he bulled his way for crucial first downs to keep the clock running and the chains moving. He later scored on a 31-yard run to give the Panthers a 21-7 lead. Logwood also filled in at middle linebacker when dehydration and nagging injuries forced some St. Mary's defensive starters to the bench for a spell in the second half.

The Panthers defense recovered six Bruins (5-3, 3-2) fumbles and grabbed one interception, as defensive back Arius Williams stepped in front of a pass from quarterback Anthony Williams and raced 45 yards for the game's final score.

Valley Christian 47, Berean Christian 14: The Vikings ran for 336 yards in a TCAL-Rock Division victory over the host Eagles.

Berean Christian had a chance early when the Vikings (5-3, 3-1 TCAL-Rock), up 10-0, fumbled a punt return, giving the Eagles the ball at the Valley Christian 40. On the next play, though, an interception was returned 85 yards for a touchdown by sophomore Jarius Woodson.

Berean Christian (2-7, 0-5) answered with an 80-yard touchdown run by sophomore Daniel Glorioso, but that is as close as it would get.
