ANAYA ALEXANDER, Las Lomas, 400 meters, So. -- Alexander won the North Coast Section Meet of Champions title with a time of 56.35 seconds and had a time of 55.76 at the Sacramento Meet of Champions.

GABRIELLA CANTRELL, San Leandro, 200, Sr. -- The USC-bound Cantrell placed second in the state championship finals with a time of 23.85 and in the preliminaries, ran an NCS-best time this season of 23.83.

ARDEN CRESON, Miramonte, long jump, Fr. -- Creson won the NCS MOC title with a personal-best leap of 18 feet, 2 inches, and set another PR of 18-4 at the state meet.

CHLOE JENKINS, St. Mary's, 800, Jr. -- Jenkins ran an NCS-best time this season of 2:11.31 to finish eighth in the state championship finals. She also won the NCS MOC title.

KENNEDY JONES, Castro Valley, triple jump, Jr. -- Jones won the NCS MOC title and placed sixth at the state championships. In the preliminaries at state, she set a personal record with a wind-aided leap of 39-61/2.

MORGAN JONES, James Logan, shot put, Jr. -- Jones placed first at the NCS MOC with an section-best mark this season of 41-10.

LAUREN LARSON, San Ramon Valley, pole vault, Sr. -- The UC Santa Barbara-bound Larson won the NCS MOC title and finished eighth in the state finals. She cleared an NCS-best 11-9 in the prelims.

VAI LOUSI, Washington, discus, So. -- Lousi won the NCS MOC title with a personal-record 135-0.

MEGAN McCANDLESS, Granada, 3,200, So. -- McCandless placed second in the NCS MOC, and her time of 10:32.82 at the state championships was the second-best time in the section this season.

MECCA McGLASTON, Dublin, 100 intermediate hurdles, So. -- McGlaston won the state title with a personal-record time of 13.54 (wind-aided) that led the state under all conditions this season.

RACHEL REICHENBACH, Foothill, high jump, Sr. -- The Stanford-bound Reichenbach was the top qualifier into the state finals with a mark of 5-7. She was seventh in the finals (5-6) and also tied for second at the NCS MOC.

CARLY SCHULZ, St. Mary's, 300 intermediate hurdles, Sr. -- The Sacramento State-bound Schulz won the NCS MOC title with an NCS-best mark this season of 43.43.

BROOKE STARN, Monte Vista, 1,600, So. -- Starn placed sixth in the state finals in 4:53.36, and also won the NCS MOC title. She also had the fastest time in the NCS this season (4:53.15).

DESTINY SMITH-BARNETT, Skyline, 100, Sr. -- The UNLV-bound Smith-Barnett placed second in the 100 at the state finals, and in the preliminaries ran a time (11.40) that ranked fifth in the nation and second in the state for wind-legal marks.
