n ATTEMPTED ROBBERY—At around 8:21 p.m., a male pedestrian approached two men who were standing on the corner of Allston Way and McKinley Avenue. One of them then demanded that he hand over his personal property and pushed him to the ground, while the other tried unsuccessfully to steal his backpack. The victim managed to push the suspects away and fled the scene.
THEFT FROM RESIDENCE—Homes were burglarized in the following locations: the 1600 block of 10th Street; the 2700 block of Ellsworth Street; the 2700 block of Wallace Street; the 2800 block of California Street; the 1000 block of Virginia Street; and the 1100 block of Hopkins Street.SATURDAY, OCT. 24
ROBBERY—At around 11:48 p.m., two men in their late teens approached another man who was sitting in front of his apartment building in the 2200 block of Ashby Avenue. One of them asked him for a cigarette.When the victim gave one man a cigarette, the other stole his cell phone and both men ran off. ROBBERY—At around 11:57 p.m., two men approached a man who was sitting on a bench in Willard Park at the corner of Derby Street and Hillegass Avenue. One of them asked if he could have a cigar. The suspects then started repeatedly punching the victim in the head, causing minor injuries, and stole his wallet, before fleeing the scene. THEFT FROM RESIDENCE—Someone burglarized a home in the 2400 block of Woolsey Street. STOLEN AUTO—Vehicles were stolen in the 600 block of Gilman Street and the 600 block of Parkside Drive. GRAND THEFT—Someone stole item(s) with a value exceeding $400 from a location in the 800 block of Potter Street.SUNDAY, OCT. 25

ATTEMPTED ROBBERY—At around 4:10 p.m., a man in his late teens, early 20s wearing a gold beaded necklace and shoulder-length dreadlocks, came up behind a woman who was walking to her apartment in the 2200 block of Dwight Street. The suspect then pushed her into the stairwell while demanding that she give up her personal property. As he had her backpack in his grasp, the victim started kicking and screaming. The suspect fled the scene without any of her possessions. THEFT FROM RESIDENCE—Homes were burglarized in the following locations: the 1300 block of Ashby Avenue; the 2400 block of Ridge Road; the 1600 block of Short Street; the 2700 block of Matthews Street; the 2200 block of Jefferson Avenue; the 1400 block of Sacramento Street; the 1500 block of Eighth Street; the 2700 block of Durant Avenue; and the 1800 block of Euclid Avenue. STOLEN AUTO—Vehicles were stolen at Gilman and Ninth streets and at Arch Street and Hearst Avenue. GRAND THEFT—Items with a value exceeding $400 were stolen in the following locations: the 1600 block of Walnut Street; the 2400 block of Fulton Street; the 1600 block of Prince Street and the 2300 block of Prospect Street.TUESDAY, OCT. 27
STOLEN AUTO—Vehicles were stolen in the following locations: at Durant and Shattuck avenues; at Curtis Street and University Avenue; in the 2800 block of Hillegass Avenue and at Hearst Avenue and Martin Luther King, Jr. Way. GRAND THEFT—Someone stole items with a value exceeding $400 from a location in the 1500 Oregon Street.WEDNESDAY, OCT. 28
n ROBBERY—At around 8:39 p.m., a female clerk at Top Dog in the 2500 block of Hearst Avenue was working alone when she was confronted by two men in their 20s. One of the men demanded that she hand over the money in the safe. The victim then took a stick and struck that suspect who flashed what she thought was a fake gun stuck in his waistband. The pair then pushed her and stole her backpack during the scuffle. The victim yelled and the suspects fled the eatery after a neighboring shop owner started yelling as well. There were no reported injuries.
THEFT FROM RESIDENCE—Homes were burglarized in the 1800 block of Addison Street and the 2600 block of Regent Street. STOLEN AUTO—Someone stole a vehicle that was parked in the 1300 block of Gilman Street. GRAND THEFT—Items with a value exceeding $400 were stolen in the following locations: the 2000 block of San Pablo Avenue; the 2800 block of College Avenue; at Euclid Avenue and Hearst Street; in the 1800 block of Fairview Street; the 1600 block of 62nd Street; and the 2400 block of Prospect Street.THURSDAY, OCT. 29
