The following calls were among those handled by the Antioch police Nov. 10-15, according to information provided by the police department. Police did not provide the week's remaining calls-for-service in time for deadline.
Nov. 10
Stolen vehicle: At 10:21 a.m. it was reported that a gray 1994 Acura was stolen from the 3000 block of G Street. Burglary: At 11:55 a.m. a resident on the 2300 block of Calhoun Court came home and found five juvenile males ransacking the interior of the house and breaking windows in an attempt to commit burglary. Malicious vandalism: At 2:26 p.m. it was reported that graffiti had been painted on the sound wall on Carlow Way and Country Hills Drive. Nov. 11
Threats: At 2:30 p.m. officers responded to Kaiser Permanente Deer Valley for a person threatening to shoot a security guard. No weapons were found. Public intoxication: At 5:33 p.m. officers responded to the Western Dental Center for the report of an intoxicated female transient lying on the ground. Stolen vehicle: At 7:28 p.m. it was reported that a red Hyundai Sante Fe was stolen from the 4000 block of Lone Tree Way.Nov. 12
Stolen vehicle: At 5:14 a.m. a 2008 Toyota Corolla left running in the driveway on the 2000 block of Glenwood Drive was stolen. Threats: At 1:46 p.m. police responded to the Rite Aid store on East 18th Street for a disruptive customer threatening to bring guns and grenades into the store. No weapons were found. Petty theft: Two females stole a bottle of liquor from the BevMo! store on the 5800 block of Lone Tree Way. Nov. 13
Assault: A female juvenile was assaulted by another female juvenile at 10:22 a.m. on the 800 block of Gary Avenue. Burglary: At 11:51 a.m. a resident on the 1200 block of Chelsea Court interrupted a burglary at a vacant house on his block. Suspects left in a tan Nissan. Robbery: At 6:12 p.m. a male reported he was robbed on James Donlon Boulevard by a male with a gun.Nov. 14
Burglary: At 5:02 a.m. it was reported that a dirt bike was stolen from the garage of a residence on the 3500 block of Mallard Way. Attempted mugging: At 11:32 a.m. a male attempted to mug a female customer inside the Rite Aid store on East 18th Street. Burglary: At 11:18 a.m. it was reported that a storage trailer at a business on the 100 block of L Street was burglarized. Nov. 15
Burglary: At 4:39 a.m. police responded to the Cigarettes for Less store on the 2700 block of Hillcrest Avenue for the report of burglary. Burglary: At 6:08 p.m. burglars entered a residence on the 2700 block of Winding Lane through an unlocked rear door and stole a laptop. Stolen vehicle: At 8:34 p.m. it was reported that a red 1991 Toyota Camry was stolen from the 3000 block of Delta Fair Boulevard. — Nan Hargis
