SAN JOSE -- Police are investigating an early morning fatal shooting in San Jose.
Just after 3 a.m. officers responded to a 911 call that a man had been shot in the 3400 block of Clover Oak Drive near Groesbeck Park, police said.
When officers arrived on the scene they found a man who had been shot at least one time. The man was pronounced dead at the scene, police said.
As of late Saturday morning no arrest had been made and the motive for the fatal shooting remained under investigation.
The victim's name is being withheld pending notification of his relatives, police said.
The fatal shooting is San Jose's 24th homicide of 2012, according to police.
