  • COMMERCIAL CRIME -- Someone burglarized a business in the 1100 block of Second Street.

  • STOLEN AUTO -- Vehicles were stolen in the 2800 block of California Street, the 1400 block of Josephine Street and the 2900 block of Wheeler Street.

  • GRAND THEFT -- Someone stole more than $950 worth of property from a location in the 1800 block of Fourth Street.

  • THEFT -- Someone stole less than $950 worth of property from a location in the 2300 block of Piedmont Avenue.

  • THEFT FROM AUTO -- Property was stolen from parked vehicles in the following locations: the 1100 block of Fourth Street; the 2300 block of Parker Street; the 2100 block of University Avenue; and the 2500 block of Virginia Street.

    SATURDAY, AUG. 18

  • THEFT FROM RESIDENCE -- Homes were burglarized in the 1600 block of Dwight Way and the 1000 block of Page Street.

  • STOLEN AUTO -- Vehicles were stolen in the following locations: Arch Street and Hearst Avenue; the 1200 block of Oxford Street; the 2600 block of Shattuck Avenue; and the 1700 block of Ward Street.

  • THEFT -- Property worth less than $950 was stolen from the following locations: the 1300 block of Channing Way; at Channing Way and Fourth Street; the 3000 block of Colby Street; the 2500 block of Grant Street; and the 2300 block of Shattuck Avenue.

    THEFT FROM AUTO -- Someone stole belongings from a parked vehicle in the 2400 block of Parker Street.

    SUNDAY, AUG. 19

  • ROBBERY -- At 6 p.m., a loss prevention officer at a store in the 1800 block of Solano Avenue spotted a man trying to steal several bottles of alcohol. When the employee confronted the suspect outside, the suspect tried to physically assault him before fleeing the scene with the stolen merchandise.

  • THEFT FROM RESIDENCE -- Someone burglarized a home in the 2100 block of Seventh Street.

  • STOLEN AUTOS -- Vehicles were stolen from the 2700 block of Belrose Avenue; at Benvenue Avenue and Parker Street; the 1600 block of California Street; the 1800 block of Delaware Street; at Grant and Virginia streets; and the 2600 block of San Pablo Avenue.

  • GRAND THEFT -- Property worth more than $950 was stolen from locations in the 1800 block of Solano Avenue and the 2800 block of Telegraph Avenue.

  • THEFT -- Items worth less than $950 were stolen from locations in the 2700 block of Hillegass Avenue and the 1800 block of Shattuck Avenue.

  • THEFT FROM AUTO -- Items were stolen from parked vehicles in the following locations: the 2700 block of Alcatraz Avenue; the 1100 block of Delaware Street; the 2300 block of Hilgard Avenue; at Marina Boulevard and Spinnaker Way; and the 1600 block of Sacramento Street.

    MONDAY, AUG. 20

  • ROBBERY -- At around 9:35 p.m., two men, one wielding a gun, accosted a male pedestrian at Allston Way and Grant Street and stole his cash and cell phone. The suspects fled, however one of them was later arrested.

  • ROBBERY -- At around 9:40 p.m., two men, one armed, stole a male pedestrian's cell phone and iPod in the 1800 block of Allston Way.

  • THEFT FROM RESIDENCE -- Someone burglarized a home in the 2100 block of Virginia Street.

  • COMMERCIAL CRIME -- Businesses were burglarized in the 600 block of Page Street and the 3100 block of Shattuck Avenue.

  • STOLEN AUTO -- Someone stole a vehicle from the 600 block of Tamalpais Road.

  • GRAND THEFT -- Goods worth more than $950 were stolen from locations in the 2100 block of Oxford Street and the 2300 block of Piedmont Avenue.

  • THEFT -- Items worth less than $950 were stolen from locations in the 2200 block of Channing Way, the 1100 block of Keith Avenue and the 2500 block of Shattuck Avenue.

  • THEFT FROM AUTO -- Belongings were stolen from parked vehicles in the following locations: at Hearst Avenue and Oxford Street; the 1600 block of Josephine Street; the 2000 block of Los Angeles Avenue; the 2300 block of Shattuck Avenue; and the 1000 block of University Avenue.

    TUESDAY, AUG. 21

  • ROBBERY -- Around 1:38 p.m., two men approached a male pedestrian near Adeline and Russell streets. One of them knocked the victim to the ground and grabbed his cell phone and the pair fled.

  • ROBBERY -- At around 3:20 p.m., a man approached a male pedestrian near Channing Way and Telegraph Avenue and snatched his cell phone. The suspect fled, but was chased by the victim, who caught up with him. The suspect struck the victim and more suspects joined in on the assault. They took off, but were later located and arrested. The victim's property was recovered.

  • ROBBERY -- At 6 p.m., a man wielding a gun stole a purse from a female pedestrian near Channing Way and 10th Street and fled in an awaiting green BMW.

  • COMMERCIAL CRIME -- Someone burglarized a business in the 700 block of Addison Street.

  • GRAND THEFT -- Property worth more than $950 were stolen from locations in the 2000 block of Fourth Street, the 2300 block of Piedmont Avenue and the 2400 block of Warring Street.

  • THEFT -- Items with a value less than $950 were stolen from the following locations: the 1600 block of Acton Street; the 1500 block of Edith Street; the 2600 block of Regent Street; the 1400 block of Stannage Avenue; the 900 block of University Avenue; and the 1500 and 1600 blocks of Walnut Street.

  • THEFT FROM AUTO -- Items were stolen from parked vehicles in the following locations: the 2700 block of College Avenue; the 400 block of Gilman Street; the 1700 block of Oxford Street; the 2200 block of Rose Street; and the 1800 block of Scenic Avenue.

    WEDNESDAY, AUG. 22

  • ROBBERY -- At 12:50 a.m., two men -- one wielding a gun and the other brandishing a knife -- stole a male pedestrian's cell phone and wallet in the 1800 block of Addison Street.

  • ROBBERY -- At 10 p.m., a man chased after a male pedestrian near King and Woolsey streets and took a backpack after the victim fell.

  • THEFT FROM RESIDENCE -- Homes were burglarized in the 1400 block of Alcatraz Avenue and the 1900 block of 10th Street.

  • THEFT -- Items worth less than $950 were stolen from the following locations: the 1700 block of California Street; the 1000 block of Folger Street; at King and Woolsey streets; at Shattuck Avenue and Stuart Street; and the 2300 block of Warring Street.

  • THEFT FROM AUTO -- Items were stolen from parked vehicles in the following locations: at Bancroft Way and Fourth Street; the 2400 block of Carleton Street; at Dwight Way and Prospect Street; at Hopkins and Josephine streets; the 600 block of Panoramic Way; and the 200 block of University Avenue.

    THURSDAY, AUG. 23

  • COMMERCIAL CRIME -- Someone burglarized a business in the 1800 block of Alcatraz Avenue.

  • THEFT -- Items worth less than $950 were stolen from the following locations: the 3000 block of Adeline Street; the 2300 block of Bancroft Way; the 2800 block of Forest Avenue; and the 2300 block of Shattuck Avenue.

  • THEFT FROM AUTO -- Items were stolen from parked vehicles in the following locations: the 1200 block of Carleton Road; the 400 block of Gilman Street; at Oxford and Virginia streets; the 100 block of Seawall Drive; the 1300 block of 67th Street; and the 500 block of Tamalpais Road.
