Campo's Goltra wins state title

Campolindo High's Aidan Goltra made program history when he won the California Interscholastic Federation boys Division III state championship race on Nov. 24 at Fresno's Woodwark Park. Goltra, a junior who transferred from Las Lomas this school year, completed the 3.1-mile course in 15:18, holding off St. John Bosco-Bellflower senior Myles Smith at the end. Goltra, who won the North Coast Section Division III race the week before, is the first boys runner in Campolindo history to win a state race, according to coach Chuck Woolridge. Miramonte's Tyler Hanson finished fourth in the same race in a time of 15:32. Acalanes' Annie Marggraff also completed a strong postseason by taking eighth in the Division III girls race (18:22).
