  • THEFT FROM RESIDENCE -- A home was burglarized in the 1400 block of Lincoln Street.

  • GRAND THEFT -- Items worth more than $950 were stolen from locations in the 2200 block of Oxford Street and the 2200 block of Shattuck Avenue.

  • THEFT -- Items worth less than $950 were stolen from locations at Center Street and Shattuck Avenue; the 2000 block of Kittredge Street and the 2300 block of Shattuck Avenue.

  • THEFT FROM AUTO -- Items were stolen from vehicles in the following locations: two in the 1900 block of Delaware Street, the 1000 block of Mariposa Avenue and the 1900 block of Virginia Street.

    SATURDAY, AUG. 10

  • ASSAULT -- At 1:50 a.m., a woman was arrested for felony assault after she bit a man with whom she was having a heated verbal and physical exchange near San Pablo and University avenues.

  • GRAND THEFT -- More than $950 worth of items were taken from a location in the 1800 block of University Avenue.

  • THEFT -- Someone stole items worth less than $950 from a location at Durant and Telegraph avenues.

  • THEFT FROM AUTO -- Items were stolen from vehicles in the 1800 block of Delaware Street; the 1000 block of Gilman Street; the 900 block of Keeler Avenue; the 2100 block of Rose Street; the 1300 block of San Pablo Avenue; the 1300 block of Sixth Street; and the 100 block of Tamalpais Road.

    SUNDAY, AUG. 11

  • COMMERCIAL CRIME -- Businesses were burglarized in the 2100 block of Center Street and the 2000 block of University Avenue.

  • THEFT -- Items worth less than $950 were stolen from locations in the 2200 block of Channing Way, the 2000 block of Fourth Street and the 1700 block of Marin Avenue.

  • THEFT FROM AUTO -- Items were stolen from vehicles in the 1100 block of Addison Street, the 1300 block of Eighth Street and the 800 block of Oxford Street.

    MONDAY, AUG. 12

  • ASSAULT -- At 1:10 p.m., a Berkeley man, 38, was arrested for felony assault following a verbal argument that ended with him picking up a plastic chair and striking the victim.

  • ROBBERY -- At 2:35 p.m., two men accosted a male pedestrian in the 1900 block of Walnut Street, with one grabbing the victim's cell phone. The suspects struck him, one using a metal pipe. The victim dropped his phone and fled.

  • THEFT FROM RESIDENCE -- Homes were burglarized in the 2200 block of Jefferson Avenue and the 1800 block of Monterey Avenue.

  • STOLEN AUTO -- A vehicle was stolen in the 1500 block of Francisco Street.

  • GRAND THEFT -- Items worth more than $950 were stolen from locations in the 1900 block of Center Street and the 1700 block of Eighth Street.

  • THEFT -- Items worth less than $950 were stolen from locations in the 1600 block of Cedar Street and the 2200 block of Shattuck Avenue.

    TUESDAY, AUG. 13

  • ATTEMPTED ROBBERY -- At 10 p.m., a man approached a male pedestrian near Berkeley Way and Milvia Street and asked him for money. He started punching the victim when his request was refused. The victim managed to block the assault, get into a vehicle and drive away.

  • THEFT FROM RESIDENCE -- Homes were burglarized in the 100 block of Ajax Place and the 1900 block of Milvia Street.

  • STOLEN AUTO -- A vehicle was stolen in the 2400 block of Acton Street.

  • GRAND THEFT -- Items worth more than $950 were stolen from locations in the 1400 block of Seventh Street and the 2400 block of Sixth Street.

  • THEFT -- Someone stole less than $950 worth of items from a location in the 2500 block of 10th Street.

  • THEFT FROM AUTO -- Items were stolen from vehicles in the 1500 block of Ada Street, the 1100 block of Cedar Street and the 900 block of University Avenue.

  • THEFT FROM RESIDENCE -- A residential burglary was reported in the 2100 block of Fifth Street.

  • COMMERCIAL CRIME -- A business was burglarized in the 2700 block of Milvia Street.

  • THEFT -- Items worth less than $950 were stolen from locations in the 2900 block of San Pablo Avenue, two in the 2500 block of Telegraph Avenue and the 700 block of Vicente Avenue.

  • THEFT FROM AUTO -- Items were stolen from vehicles at Benvenue Avenue and Dwight Way, the 1900 block of Carleton Street and at Domingo Avenue and Russell Street.

  • THEFT FROM AUTO -- Items were stolen from vehicles in the 2000 block of Berkeley Way and the 900 block of Ensenada Avenue.
