  • STOLEN AUTO -- A vehicle was stolen in the 1300 block of California Street.

  • THEFT -- Items worth less than $950 were stolen from the 2100 block of Center Street; the 1700 block of Fourth Street; the 2400 block of Piedmont Avenue; and the 1600 block of Shattuck Avenue.

  • THEFT FROM AUTO -- Items were stolen from vehicles in the 1800 block of Francisco Street and the 1700 block of 10th Street.

    SATURDAY, AUG. 24

  • STOLEN AUTO -- Vehicles were stolen at Berkeley Way and Henry Street and the 1300 block of Rose Street.

  • GRAND THEFT -- Someone stole more than $950 worth of items from a location in the 1900 block of Sixth Street.

  • THEFT -- Items worth less than $950 were stolen from locations in the 1300 and 1900 blocks of San Pablo Avenue and the 2100 block of Shattuck Avenue.

  • THEFT FROM AUTO -- Items were stolen from vehicles in the 1600 block of Chestnut Street, at Gilman and Sixth streets and the 1300 block of Milvia Street.

    SUNDAY, AUG. 25

  • THEFT FROM RESIDENCE -- A home was burglarized in the 800 block of Neilson Street.

  • COMMERCIAL CRIME -- Businesses were burglarized in the 1200 block of Fifth Street and the 1500 block of Shattuck Avenue.

    MONDAY, AUG. 26

  • ROBBERY -- At 10:14 p.m., a man came up behind a female pedestrian who was talking on her cell phone in the 2600 block of Haste Street and yanked the phone from her grasp.

  • THEFT FROM RESIDENCE -- A home was burglarized in the 1100 block of Fresno Avenue.

  • GRAND THEFT -- Items worth more than $950 were stolen from locations in the 2600 block of Le Conte Avenue, the 2200 block of Martin Luther King, Jr. Way and the 900 block of Shattuck Square.

  • THEFT -- Items worth less than $950 were stolen from locations in the 1400 block of Martin Luther King, Jr. Way, the 1700 block of Spruce Street and the 2400 block of Telegraph Avenue.

  • THEFT FROM AUTO -- Items were stolen from vehicles in the 1600 block of Belvedere Avenue; the 2000 block of Berkeley Way; at Berkeley Way and Shattuck Avenue; and the 1300 block of San Pablo Avenue.

    TUESDAY, AUG. 27

  • THEFT FROM RESIDENCE -- A home was burglarized in the 1600 block of Lincoln Street.

  • THEFT -- Items worth less than $950 were stolen from the 1600 and 2000 blocks of Shattuck Avenue.

  • THEFT FROM AUTO -- Items were stolen from vehicles at Addison and Milvia streets, the 2000 block of Fourth Street and the 2300 block of Shattuck Avenue.

    WEDNESDAY, AUG. 28

  • ASSAULT -- At 5:45 a.m., two women got into a verbal dispute in the 700 block of Harrison Street. One threw a type of liquid in the victim's face and struck her repeatedly in the head. The victim was treated at a hospital.

  • ASSAULT -- At 6 p.m., a man struck another man with a small metal pipe during a dispute in the 2100 block of Eighth Street. The victim was treated for injuries at a hospital.

  • THEFT FROM RESIDENCE -- Homes were burglarized in the 1600 block of Buena Avenue; two in the 2700 block of Channing Way; and the 1700 block of 10th Street.

  • STOLEN AUTO -- Vehicles were stolen in the 1100 block of Cragmont Avenue and the 1100 block of Virginia Street.

  • THEFT -- Items worth less than $950 were stolen from locations in the 200 block of Center Street, the 1900 block of Martin Luther King, Jr. Way and the 2400 block of Piedmont Avenue.

  • THEFT FROM AUTO -- Someone stole items from a vehicle in the 1200 block of Evelyn Avenue.

    THURSDAY, AUG. 29

  • COMMERCIAL CRIME -- Someone burglarized a business in the 1100 block of University Avenue.

  • GRAND THEFT -- Someone stole more than $950 worth of items from a location at Francisco and Sacramento streets.

  • THEFT -- Items worth less than $950 were stolen from locations in the 2000 block of Kittredge Street and the 1100 block of Oxford Street.
