friday, sept. 13

  • 10:37 p.m. -- Warfield Avenue. A burglary was reported.

    saturday, sept. 14

  • 2:38 a.m. -- Pleasant Valley Road and Piedmont Avenue. Police arrested a motorist on suspicion of drunken driving.

    sunday, sept. 15

  • 11:07 a.m. -- Pacific Avenue. A woman told police that someone used her personal information to open several accounts and purchase a vehicle in her name.

  • 1:29 p.m. -- Howard Avenue. A non-injury traffic accident involving two vehicles was reported.

  • 3:26 p.m. -- Park Boulevard and Estates Drive. Police recovered a stolen gold Infiniti. The vehicle's radio was missing and its ignition punched.

  • 11:39 p.m. -- York Drive. A resident confronted a man as he was attempting to steal loose change from a vehicle, police said. The suspect was last running down an alley toward Ricardo Avenue. He was described as a black man in his 50s with a thin build, 5 feet 8 inches to 6 feet tall, short hair and wearing a white shirt.

    monday, sept. 16

  • 6:39 a.m. -- Manor Drive. A caller in the 1600 block of Lower Grand Avenue reported hearing a possible gunshot fired on nearby Manor Drive, police said.

    tuesday, sept. 17

  • 3:05 a.m. -- Magnolia Avenue. Someone rifled through two vehicles in the neighborhood. No items were stolen, however.

  • 8:52 a.m. -- Howard Avenue. Identity theft was reported.

    wednesday, sept. 18

  • 11:31 a.m. -- Estates Drive. Identity theft was reported.

    thurday, sept. 19

  • 9:11 a.m. -- Grand and Sunnyside avenues. A non-injury traffic accident involving two vehicles was reported.

  • 11:13 p.m. -- MacArthur Boulevard and Lakeshore Avenue (Oakland). Police assisted Oakland firefighters as they extinguished a car fire.
