MONDAY, Sept 23

  • TRESPASSING -- Officers received a call at 5:30 p.m. from a business in Town Center on the 900 block of San Pablo Avenue complaining that a transient man had just urinated on the side of the building near the a laundry and requesting he be asked to move along. Officers advised the man of the complaint.

  • THEFT -- At 8:30 p.m. an employee at Safeway in the 1500 block of Solano Avenue reported that a man had just stolen about $400 worth of produce and other items. He was last seen walking east on Solano.

    TUESDAY, Sept 24

  • AUTO THEFT -- During the early morning hours a car was stolen on Santa Fe Avenue.

  • AUTO BREAK-IN -- Property was stolen from an unlocked car that was near Curtis Street and Visalia Street. Officers took the report.

  • DUI -- At 10:30 p.m. officers stopped a vehicle on San Pablo Avenue near Fairmont Street for a vehicle code violation and arrested a Vallejo man for suspicion of two counts of DUI.

    WEDNESDAY, Sept 25

  • THEFT -- At noon officers learned a large amount of money had been stolen from Albany Middle School and the caller said that they had a possible witness in the office.

  • VANDALISM -- At 3 p.m. a group of two or three about 10 or 11 years old were reported throwing rocks at, and damaging a car near Marin and San Pablo avenues. Officers are investigating.

  • THEFT -- At 9 p.m. a caller reported leaving a D3200 camera valued at $3,000 to $4,000 at Memorial Park on Portland Avenue and returning to find it gone.

    THURSDAY, Sept 26

  • TRESPASSING -- Officers issued trespassing warnings to two men camping and building a camp fire behind Target on the north side of the creek at 8:30 a.m. when security complained.

  • AUTO BREAK-IN -- A green 1995 Toyota Camry in the 700 block of Jackson Street was burgled and property stolen.

  • DRUG POSSESSION -- Albany High School reported at 3 p.m. that a student was in possession of marijuana and also under the influence of the drug. The parents were notified and the marijuana was destroyed.

  • HOME BREAK-IN -- At 4 p.m. a resident on the 800 block of Washington Avenue reported that someone had kicked in his front door and stolen items. Officers cleared the residence and are investigating.

    FRIDAY, Sept 27

  • AUTO BREAK-IN -- At 6:30 p.m. officers received a report that a backpack was stolen from a car in the Target parking lot after the window was smashed.

  • TEEN DUI -- At 10 p.m. officers stopped a vehicle filled with kids near Buchanan and Jackson streets when it was observed traveling at 70 MPH on Buchanan Street. They arrested a 16-year-old San Pablo boy for suspicion of two counts of DUI.

  • DUI -- A few minutes before midnight officers stopped a vehicle on the westbound on-ramp to Interstate 80 at Buchanan Street for a vehicle code violation and arrested a 49-year-old Richmond woman for suspicion of DUI.

    SATURDAY, Sept 28

  • DUI -- Just after midnight officers stopped a vehicle near Marin and Kains avenues for a vehicle code violation and arrested a 26-year-old San Pablo woman for suspicion of two counts of DUI.

  • FIGHT -- Officers responded to Montrero's restaurant on Solano Avenue at San Pablo Avenue at 1:30 a.m. when they received reports of a fight occurring outside the restaurant. Officers could not determine that weapons were used. They took the report and broke up the group.

  • AUTO THEFT -- A vehicle was stolen overnight on Ventura Street. A car was stolen from a garage on Kains Avenue.

    SUNDAY, Sept 29

  • DUI -- Officers stopped a vehicle in the 1000 block of San Pablo Avenue at 1 a.m. for a vehicle code violation and arrested a 36-year-old Berkeley woman for suspicion of two counts of DUI.

  • DUI -- At 2 a.m. officers stopped a vehicle in the 500 block of San Pablo Avenue for a vehicle code violation and arrested a 22-year-old Berkeley man for suspicion of two counts of DUI.

  • DRUG POSSESSION -- A few minutes before midnight officers investigated a person near Kaady Car Wash on the 400 block of San Pablo Avenue who was acting suspiciously. They arrested the 36-year-old Richmond man for suspicion of two counts of drug possession.
