MONDAY, Nov. 4

  • DUI -- Officers stopped a vehicle in the parking lot of Taco Bell and Sizzler on San Pablo Avenue at 2 a.m. for a vehicle code violation and arrested a 25-year-old Oakland woman for suspicion of two counts of DUI.

  • TRESPASSING -- At 10:30 a.m. officers arrested a 49-year-old transient man from Berkeley in the 1600 block of Solano Avenue for suspicion of trespassing and a probation violation.

  • DRUGS -- Albany High School at 12:30 p.m. reported having a juvenile in the office who was intoxicated and had used marijuana. They were sending the child home.

  • NO LICENSE -- At 10:30 p.m. officers stopped a vehicle near Central Avenue and Interstate 580, cited the driver for driving with a suspended license and towed the car.

    TUESDAY, Nov. 5

  • WARRANT -- At 1 a.m. officers saw a person acting suspiciously in the 1000 block of Eastshore. They arrested the 52-year-old Berkeley man for an outstanding warrant.

    WEDNESDAY, Nov. 6

  • PISTOL -- Goodwill on San Pablo Avenue requested officers pick up an antique pistol a customer had donated.

  • ATTEMPTED ROBBERY -- At 10:30 p.m. a caller reported that a man who appeared to be intoxicated had just tried to steal a bike that a woman was riding, then fled east on Solano Avenue.

    THURSDAY, Nov. 7

  • AUTO THEFT -- A vehicle was stolen overnight on Stannage Avenue.

  • AUTO RECOVERY -- Officers investigating a vehicle at Portola Organic Café on San Pablo Avenue found it was reported as stolen out of Pinole.

    FRIDAY, Nov. 8

  • WARRANT -- Officers noticed ed a person in a U-Haul truck acting suspiciously at the Goodwill on San Pablo Avenue at 1:30 a.m. They arrested the 52-year-old San Pablo man for an outstanding warrant.

  • CAMPERS -- A worker on Key Route Boulevard near the BART tracks at 9 a.m. who had a work request to clean up a possible homeless encampment asked for assistance on discovering the camp was occupied.

  • WARRANT -- Officers arrested a 47-year-old Oakland man on the 900 block of San Pablo Avenue at 12:30 p.m. for an outstanding warrant.

  • RESTRAINING ORDER -- At 1:30 p.m. the principal at Albany High School requested assistance with serving a restraining order against a student.

    SATURDAY, Nov. 9

  • THEFT -- Target in the 1000 block of Eastshore reported at 2:30 p.m. that a person had just used a forged check to make a purchase. A 31-year-old Berkeley man was arrested near Eastshore and Harrison Street at 3:30 p.m. for suspicion of passing a bad check and petty theft.

  • DUI -- At 3:30 p.m. a person in a blue BMW near the Buchanan Street interchange was reported acting strangely. Officers located the vehicle at Golden Gate Fields and arrested the driver, 46-year-old Berkeley man, for suspicion of drug possession and DUI.

    SUNDAY, Nov. 10

  • DUI -- Officers stopped a vehicle near Buchanan and Jackson streets at 1 a.m. and arrested a 22-year-old Pinole man for suspicion of DUI.

  • DOUBLE ARREST -- At 3 a.m. officers received a call about a person in a black Lexus IS who accelerated from a diagonal parking space on Solano Avenue and ran into the front of Buo Luang Thai restaurant. The vehicle was last seen heading east on Solano Avenue. Officers stopped the vehicle near Neilson and Marin avenues and determined the driver who had hit the building had switched places with the passenger at the scene of the accident. A 25-year-old Fairfield woman and a 29-year-old Napa woman, were found to be intoxicated and were each arrested for suspicion of two counts of DUI.

  • DRUGS -- At 10 a.m. a resident on Jackson Street near Solano Avenue reported a car was in front of the house with four people inside who appeared to have bags of marijuana. Officers investigated and found over two pounds of marijuana in the car. They arrested the occupants of the vehicle; a 24-year-old Quebec, Canada man, a 31-year-old Camarillo man, a 25-year-old Massachusetts man and a 23-year-old Ontario, Canada woman. All were charged with drug possession and the Massachusetts man was charged with an additional drug possession charge.

  • FUNNY MONEY -- At 11 a.m. security at Golden Gate Fields reported that they had a person in custody for passing counterfeit 20-dollar bills. Officers arrested the 66-year-old Berkeley man for suspicion of passing counterfeit money.

  • DOUBLE ARREST -- At 9:30 p.m. officers stopped a vehicle in the 700 block of Solano Avenue and found the occupants in possession of forged credit cards. They arrested the two Oakland women, ages 27 and 31, for suspicion of possession of forged credit cards and felony charges for committing a crime while on bail. The younger woman was additionally charged for driving with a suspended license.

  • BATTERY -- Officers arrested a 42-year-old Albany man at his Garfield Street home at 10 p.m. for suspicion of domestic violence and robbery.

    -- Kristina Osborn
