  • GRAND THEFT -- Someone stole more than $950 worth of items from a location in the 2000 block of Shattuck Avenue.

  • THEFT -- Items worth less than $950 were stolen from locations in the 1700 block of Fourth Street and the 1400 block of 66th Street.

  • THEFT FROM AUTO -- Items were stolen from vehicles in the 3000 block of Benvenue Avenue, the 2000 block of Fourth Street and 2800 block of Shattuck Avenue.

  • THEFT FROM RESIDENCE -- Homes were burglarized in the 3000 block of Halcyon Court, the 2400 block of Prospect Street and the 2900 block of Regent Street.

  • COMMERCIAL CRIME -- A business was burglarized in the 600 block of Cedar Street.

  • STOLEN AUTO -- Vehicles were stolen in the 1700 block of Ninth Street and the 1600 block of Walnut Street.

  • GRAND THEFT -- Someone stole more than $950 worth of items from a location in the 1600 block of University Avenue.

  • THEFT -- Items worth less than $950 were stolen at Allston Way and San Pablo Avenue; the 2000 block of Kittredge Street; the 1400 block of Shattuck Avenue; and the 2000 block of University Avenue.

  • THEFT FROM AUTO -- Items were stolen from vehicles in the 2400 and 2500 blocks of Durant Avenue; two in the 2300 block of Dwight Way; and the 1700 block of Walnut Street.

  • THEFT FROM RESIDENCE -- Someone burglarized a home in the 2400 block of Prospect Street.

  • STOLEN AUTO -- Vehicles were stolen in the 1000 block of Addison Street, at Bancroft Way and Milvia Street and at Dwight Way and Ellsworth Street.

  • THEFT -- Items worth less than $950 were stolen from locations in the 1300 block of Ninth Street, the 2000 block of Shattuck Avenue and the 2300 block of Telegraph Avenue.

    MONDAY, JAN. 20

  • ROBBERY -- At 6 a.m., a man had just parked his vehicle in the 2400 block of Bancroft Way when a man, wielding a knife, approached and ordered him to relinquish his car keys. A struggle ensued, during which the victim sustained minor injuries. He managed to break free and called police, who arrested the suspect nearby for attempted robbery, assault with a deadly weapon and a probation violation.

  • THEFT FROM RESIDENCE -- Someone burglarized a home in the 3000 block of San Pablo Avenue.

  • COMMERCIAL CRIME -- Businesses were burglarized in the 900 block of Ashby Avenue, the 2800 block of Eighth Street and the 1100 block of Second Street.

  • STOLEN AUTO -- A vehicle was stolen in the 1700 block of Harmon Street.

  • THEFT -- Items worth less than $950 were stolen from locations in the 800 block of Arlington Avenue, the 1300 block of Carrison Street and the 2100 block of Eighth Street.

  • THEFT FROM AUTO -- Items were stolen from vehicles in the 2200 block of Roosevelt Avenue and the 2400 block of Telegraph Avenue.

  • THEFT FROM RESIDENCE -- Someone burglarized a home in the 2400 block of Bonar Street.

  • COMMERCIAL CRIME -- A business was burglarized in the 1500 block of Shattuck Avenue.

  • STOLEN AUTO -- Vehicles were stolen at College Avenue and Webster Street and the 1300 block of 66th Street.

  • THEFT -- Items worth less than $950 were stolen from locations in the 1300 block of Carrison Street, the 2200 block of Seventh Street and the 2000 block of Sixth Street.

  • THEFT FROM AUTO -- Items were stolen from vehicles in the 1600 block of Acton Street, the 1800 block of Franklin Street and the 1800 block of Fourth Street.

  • THEFT FROM RESIDENCE -- Someone burglarized a home in the 900 block of Hilldale Avenue.

  • STOLEN AUTO -- Vehicles were stolen at Delaware Street and San Pablo Avenue and the 700 block of Gilman Street.

  • GRAND THEFT -- Items worth more than $950 were stolen from locations in the 2100 block of Fourth Street and the 2300 block of Telegraph Avenue.

  • THEFT -- Items worth less than $950 were stolen from the 2900 block of Florence Street; the 1300 block of Harmon Street; the 2100 block of Prince Street; the 2300 block of Shattuck Avenue; the 2100 block of University Avenue; the 1500 block of Virginia Street; and the 2200 block of Ward Street.

  • THEFT FROM AUTO -- Someone stole items from a vehicle in the 2600 block of Webster Street.

    THURSDAY, JAN. 23

  • ROBBERY -- At 6:22 p.m., two men were riding in a vehicle near Blake and Grant streets after one had agreed to rent a vehicle to the other. He then brandished a knife and ordered the victim to hand over his case. The victim gave him his money, exited the vehicle and flagged down police.

  • ASSAULT -- At 6:57 p.m., a verbal altercation occurred over a parking matter at Delaware and Walnut streets, during which a mn sprayed suspected pepper spray in the victim's face. The suspect was arrested nearby.

  • THEFT FROM RESIDENCE -- Someone burglarized a home in the 2300 block of Spaulding Avenue.

  • COMMERCIAL CRIME -- A business was burglarized in the 1600 block of University Avenue.

  • STOLEN AUTO -- A vehicle was stolen in the 2800 block of Webster Street.

  • GRAND THEFT -- Someone stole more than $950 worth of items from a location at College Avenue and Russell Street.

  • THEFT -- Items worth less than $950 were stolen from locations in the 2700 block of Telegraph Avenue and the 200 block of University Avenue.

  • THEFT FROM AUTO -- Someone stole items from a vehicle at King and Woolsey streets.
