I-580 West truck scales closed through March

The truck scales along westbound Interstate 580 near Greenville Road are closed through March.

The closure is part of the I-580 Corridor improvement project by Caltrans. Contractors will replace slabs along the on- and offramps leading to the scales.

A Caltrans advisory warns motorists to expect delays and take alternate routes if necessary and reminds that traffic fines are doubled in construction zones.
