FRIDAY, JAN. 31

  • ROBBERY -- Around 5:50 p.m., a man approached a female pedestrian near College Avenue and Woolsey Street, grabbed her purse, shoved her to the ground and fled in a waiting vehicle.

  • THEFT FROM RESIDENCE -- Someone burglarized a home in the 1500 block of Buena Avenue.

  • COMMERCIAL CRIME -- Someone burglarized a business in the 1800 block of Solano Avenue.

  • THEFT -- Items worth less than $950 were stolen from the 2000 block of Allston Way; at Cedar and Sacramento streets; two in the 1800 block of Fourth Street; the 1400 block of Shattuck Avenue; the 2400 block of Telegraph Avenue; and the 2100 block of University Avenue.

  • THEFT FROM AUTO -- Items were stolen from vehicles in the 3000 block of Fulton Street and the 100 block of Seawall Drive.

    SATURDAY, FEB. 1

  • COMMERCIAL CRIME -- A business was burglarized in the 1300 block of San Pablo Avenue.

  • STOLEN AUTO -- Vehicles were stolen in the 3000 block of Ashby Avenue, the 2300 block of Durant Avenue and the 2200 block of Virginia Street.

  • THEFT -- Items worth less than $950 were stolen from locations in the 2100 block of Kittredge Street, the 1900 block of McGee Avenue; and the 1600 block of University Avenue.

  • THEFT FROM AUTO -- Someone stole items from a vehicle at Cedar and Grant streets.

    SUNDAY, FEB. 2

  • ATTEMPTED ROBBERY -- At 7:36 p.m., a woman grabbed another woman's bicycle as she was riding by in the 1700 block of San Pablo Avenue. The suspect unsuccessfully tried to steal items from the victim, reportedly charging at her several times. The victim managed to defend herself and keep hold of her belongings. The suspect was arrested soon after for attempted robbery.

  • COMMERCIAL CRIME -- Someone burglarized a business in the 2100 block of McGee Avenue.

  • GRAND THEFT -- Items worth more than $950 were stolen from locations in the 3000 block of Telegraph Avenue and the 1100 block of University Avenue.

  • THEFT -- Items worth less than $950 were stolen from locations at Bowditch Street and Durant Avenue.

  • THEFT FROM AUTO -- Items were stolen from vehicles in the 1700 block of Fourth Street; the 2100 block of Martin Luther King, Jr. Way; at Parker and 10th streets; the 2800 block of Prince Street; and the 2400 block of Seventh Street.

    MONDAY, FEB. 3

  • STOLEN AUTO -- Someone stole a vehicle that was parked near Ashby and Telegraph avenues.

  • THEFT -- Items worth less than $950 were stolen from locations in the 1700 block of Shattuck Avenue, the 2000 block of Sixth Street and the 1000 block of University Avenue.

    TUESDAY, FEB. 4

  • GRAND THEFT -- Someone stole items worth more than $950 from a location in the 2200 block of Shattuck Avenue.

  • THEFT -- Items worth less than $950 were stolen from locations in the 1800 block of Fourth Street, the 2900 block of San Pablo Avenue and the 3000 block of Telegraph Avenue.

  • THEFT FROM AUTO -- Someone stole items from a vehicle in the 1300 block of 67th Street.

    WEDNESDAY, FEB. 5

  • COMMERCIAL CRIME -- Someone burglarized a business in the 1600 block of Shattuck Avenue.

  • STOLEN AUTO -- Vehicles were stolen in the 1100 block of Cragmont Avenue; the 1200 block of Gilman Street; the 1000 block of Grizzly Peak Boulevard; and the 800 block of Santa Barbara Road.

  • THEFT -- Someone stole less than $950 worth of items from a location in the 1400 block of Shattuck Avenue.

    THURSDAY, FEB. 6

  • ROBBERY -- At around 2:53 p.m., a San Francisco man, 51, was seen putting several items in a bag that he had picked up in a store in the 2200 block of Durant Avenue, and then leaving without paying. A female employee who confronted the suspect as he ran past was knocked to the ground. The victim continued to follow him, but was temporarily blocked by his female accomplice, a Berkeley woman, age 29, according to police. The male suspect then threatened the employee with a knife if she came any closer. The suspects were arrested nearby and the property was recovered.

  • THEFT -- Someone stole less than $950 worth of items from a location in the 2800 block of Martin Luther King, Jr. Way.

  • THEFT FROM AUTO -- Someone stole items from a location near Durant Avenue and Fulton Street.
