Police arrested four men, including one in possession of suspected ecstasy and another with cocaine, on Feb. 27 after officers initially contacted the group because they appeared drunk in the city's parking lot on Park Avenue.

The 20-year-old man who was in possession of cocaine also faces a charge of violating his probation, police said. The man who allegedly had the ecstasy is age is 23. The other men are 26 and 31. The men were each "heavily intoxicated" and stumbling through the parking lot before they were arrested about 9:30 p.m.

THURSDAY, FEB. 27

  • ROBBERY -- A robbery was reported about 12:50 a.m. in the 3000 block of Main Street, police said. The two victims were sitting in a vehicle when two suspects approached and robbed them at gunpoint, and then fled on foot.

  • BURGLARY -- Two burglars who entered a garage in the 3200 block of Fairview Avenue also tried to enter the property's residence but fled when the victim confronted them, police said. It happened about 4:25 a.m. Police also said someone entered an unlocked vehicle and then used a garage door opener that was inside to open a garage door of a residence in the 2800 block of Van Buren Street. The burglar, who entered the home and stole an iPad and other items, fled after being confronted by a witness. It was reported about 5:40 a.m.

  • GRAND THEFT -- The theft of an outboard motor from a boat in the 1800 block of Clement Avenue was reported at 9 a.m., police said.

  • VEHICLE THEFT -- A thief broke into a vehicle and stole items from inside, including keys that were used to steal a second vehicle in the 1500 block of Gibbons Drive, police said. The incident was reported about 7:50 a.m.

    FRIDAY, FEB. 28

  • VEHICLE THEFT -- Vehicles were reported stolen at 11:15 a.m. in the 2300 block of Alameda South Shore Center; at 1 p.m. at Elm Street and Buena Vista Avenue; about 8:05 p.m. in the 300 block of Park Street; and about 9:50 p.m. in the 2200 block of Alameda South Shore Center. Police also recovered a vehicle stolen in San Leandro about 2:35 p.m. in the 3200 block of Central Avenue, where a possible suspect was also spotted entering a nearby residence. Officers were unable to locate the individual, however.

  • BURGLARY -- Someone stole suitcases from a locker in a garage in the 300 block of Broadway. The burglary was reported about 10:15 a.m. Break-ins of additional lockers at the same garage were reported about 3:15 p.m.

  • DRUG POSSESSION -- Police arrested a woman, 30, on suspicion of possessing methamphetamine and narcotics paraphernalia in the 900 block of Eagle Avenue. Officers contacted her about 9:20 p.m. while investigating a report of a disturbance.

    SATURDAY, MARCH 1

  • VEHICLE THEFT -- Vehicles were reported stolen about 12:15 a.m. in the 3000 block of Main Street and about 12:2 p.m. at Fir Avenue and Admiralty Lane.

  • DRUG POSSESSION -- Police arrested a cyclist, 62, following a traffic stop about 1:40 a.m. in the 1600 block of Park Street, where he was allegedly found in possession of suspected methamphetamine. Another traffic stop in the 2000 block of Webster Street led to the arrest of a 29-year-old motorist on suspicion of possessing less than one ounce of marijuana. A patrol officer pulled over the woman about 11:30 p.m. for having an inoperable headlight.

    SUNDAY, MARCH 2

  • DRUG POSSESSION -- Police arrested two men in the 2300 block of Buena Vista Avenue, where officers were initially dispatched to investigate a disturbance. One man, 43, was allegedly in possession of methamphetamine. His 49-year-old companion, who was drunk, was placed in a "wrap" restraining device after he began to kick a rear door of a patrol car, police said. The device is a plastic blanket with belts that an officer can place around a suspect's legs. The arrests occurred about 12:35 a.m.

  • VEHICLE THEFT -- A vehicle was reported stolen about 12:25 p.m. in the 1100 block of Park Avenue.
