Glenview Elementary School Principal Chelsea Trotter promised to kiss a slug (substituted with a snail) and eat an insect (of the chocolate covered variety) if students read enough books to raise more than $65,000 in pledges during the school's annual Read-A-Thon. The students reached their goal and the money raised will be used for the library, music and other programs at the school.
