Majors DivisionPirates 8, Rays 2: Solid pitching and errorless defense carried the Pirates to their fourth consecutive victory. The Rays' Thomas Richardson pitched two strong innings and at the plate, doubles were hit by Michael Paltiel and Oren Rose-Strochlic. Tyson Howard fanned five Rays and Jack DeAndreis looked sharp in his Majors mound debut. Dylan Moore closed out the game by striking out the side in the sixth. Offensivley, DeAndreis and Sandler Douglas hit doubles and Cameron Bonzell added a triple.
A's 5, Pirates 1: Elijah Barzell-Weber and Cole Anderson had crucial run-scoring hits for the A's, but P.J. Carney's two-run home run made the difference sealed the win. Matthew Ratto went 2 for 2 and Alex George came up with a two-out single. A's pitchers Carney and Louis Whitaker allowed just one run in the game. The Pirates broke up the shutout with a solo home run Dillon Moore.
Giants 15, Cubs 3: Stellar defense and offense was on display as the Giants and Cubs battled it out for nine innings. In the bottom of the sixth, the Giants escaped a bases loaded jam with no outs, when Blaine French fielded a tough grounder and tossed it to Joseph Picchi, who bare-handed it for a crucial out. For the Giants, Rudy Broome started off a five-run inning with a clutch RBI single, and Lanie Goldberg set the offensive tone with four RBIs. The Cubs rallied with home runs from Jeff Ruby and Luc Mollard, and pitcher Takumi Crombie kept the game close.
Red Sox 4, Royals 3: For the Red Sox, Ty Hunter pitched three beautiful innings, and Satchel Martin turned in an efficient relief inning before giving way to Heron Johnson-Vigeant who selaed the victory down the stretch and also hit the game winning home run. Dean Headley also hit a massive home run for the Sox. Lorenzo Bartalotti led the Royals with a double, a triple, and four innings pitched.

Piedmont Walking Red 5, Piedmont Nitrogen 1: Walking Red pitchers were lights out in a win over the Nitrogen. Luke Harris, Jordan Hunt, Julian Scherman, and Ben Levinson combined for 17 strikeouts. Scherman had a key two-run single to put the Walking Red ahead for good, Harris and Levinson added two hits apiece, and Nathan Reese had a 13-pitch at bat.
Piedmont Reds 20, Piedmont Twins 20: For the Reds, Nate Hart hit a triple in the fourth and scored on a single by Miguel Long. Defensively, Max Goldfarb had an unassisted out and caught a runner at home with a strong throw to catcher Brayden Day. Ben Elmquist and Andrew McLaughlin both went 4 for 4, including one triple each. Elmquist also earned the "Charlie Hustle" award. Nikolas Markopoulos singled, doubled, and was named Player of the Game. For the Twins, Mateo DeVries 3 for 4 and Eli Wachs made several key defensive plays.
