Friday, March 28

  • 2:55 p.m. -- Echo Lane. A man wearing a blue track suit was walking around the property and looking into a house.

  • 10:24 p.m. -- Sandringham Road. Someone reported hearing screeching tires for the 10 minutes.

    Saturday, March 29

  • 7:30 a.m. -- Olive Avenue. Someone tampered with the lock and stole two bicycles from the garage. Estimated total value is $5,000.

  • 11:16 a.m. -- Boulevard Way. Someone stole a silver Honda that was parked in front of a residence.

  • 4:37 p.m. -- Highland Avenue. A man turned in three guns for destruction at the Piedmont Police Department.

    Sunday, March 30

  • 5:39 p.m. -- Grand Avenue. Someone reported that a laptop, iPad and headphones had been stolen from the lobby.

    Monday, March 31

  • 6:36 a.m. -- Glen Alpine Road. Someone rifled through a vehicle the night before. The loss was undetermined.

  • 9:43 a.m. -- Mesa Avenue. Identity theft was reported.

    Tuesday, April 1

  • 8:55 a.m. -- Magnolia Avenue. A driver of a black BMW sedan was speeding up and down the roadway.

  • 5:27 p.m. -- Blair Avenue. Someone reported being a victim of a fraudulent transaction on eBay.

    Wednesday, April 2

  • 7:22 a.m. -- La Salle Avenue. A vehicle was reported stolen.

  • 9:57 a.m. -- Oakmont Avenue. A resident reported being the victim of identity theft, with the suspect charging an estimated $300 on a credit card.

  • 11:40 a.m. -- St. James Drive. Someone smashed a window of a parked Lexus.

  • 4:58 p.m. -- Oakland Avenue. Someone broke a window on a home, possibly leaving a metal wrench behind.

    Thursday, April 3

  • 11:19 a.m. -- Mountain Avenue. Someone stole a purse from a parked vehicle.

  • 11:40 a.m. -- Park Way. Police arrested someone for possession of a controlled substance.

  • 2:11 p.m. -- Ramona Avenue. A resident discovered a home's windows had been forced open and drawers were opened. Nothing was reported stolen.
