Seelenbacher Jewelers Red Sox 11, McGuiness and Northridge Marlins 2: The Red Sox's Darren Taira had a no-hitter until the fifth, striking out eight batters. Estivido Ramirez charged in from the field catching a fly ball. Scott Kelly had a great hit to center field gaining two more RBIs for the Sox. The Marlins played a competitive game but fell short.
Dr. Vicki Wang Orthodontics Twins 12, Becker Media Giants 8: For the Twins, Will Dodge lined a three-run triple, Sophie Nilsson reached base all four times, and AJ Silberstein drew three walks. For the Giants, Jeriah Lewis walked and scored three times, while Ronald Robertson and Ryan Wong combined for five RBI.
Dr. Vicki Wang Orthodontics Twins 10, Neptune Beach Pearl Pirates 2: For the Twins, KW Quilici, Max Nyrop, Sam Silberstein, and Nathan Westlund each had two hits, while Nyrop and Michael Shih held the Pirates in check. For the Pirates, Patrick Ramos made a diving catch in center, and Chauncey Villagrana and Dallas Rider each ripped a base hit.
Jim Bustos Plumbing Dodgers 8, EPE USA Nationals 5: For the Dodgers, Daniel Choi singled and scored, Malachi Francois and Jackson Ade each hit an RBI single. For the Nationals, James Freeman pitched effectively for two innings and added a single. Zach Karch and Ethan Karp both hit doubles to account for the Nationals' first two runs.
Dr. Vicki Wang Orthodontics Twins 12, EPE Nationals 2: For the Nationals, Zack Karch hit a triple, and Joe Boyden and Davis Stewart added doubles and played solid defense. For the Twins, AJ and Sam Silberstein, KW Quilici, and Sophie Nilsson each had two hits, while Max Nyrop reached base all four times at bat.
Craft Beer and Wine Red Wings 12, Little House Café Stars 11: For the Red Wings, Joshua Freeman had a nice infield hit and beat the throw at first. Christopher Schaefer caught a pop fly to end the game. For the Stars Nick Rondonet was successful in his first pitching outing, while Eugene Gardner hit two balls off the wall, and Max Hernandez smacked a triple. Great defense by Nick Bellinger at third.
Neptune Pearl Mud Cats 9, Craft Beer and Wine Red Wings 2: For the Red Wings, Diego Franco knocked a double to center. Jacob Baca made his pitching debut with a strong inning. Outstanding catches by Declan Howard, Luke Freeman, and Aidan Gleason. Joe Laughran hit two triples and a double. Jerick hit a triple. Brian Belt and Shamar Cook both got clutch hits to drive in big runs needed for the Mudcats.
Red Onion Rock Hounds 11, Alameda Natural Grocery Bees 9: Bees third baseman Jaden Jamula made a spectacular backhand play and throw across the diamond for an out. Anthony Fortie hit two long drives to left field to spark the offense. For the Red Onion Rock Hounds, Nathan Jaramillo hit a 3 run home run. Tyler Ray also contributed to the offense with three hits.
Grasshoppers 17, Pacific Bay Electric Scrappers 12: Alameda Little League Publicity Scrappers Anthony Ramirez hit an RBI single, while Adam Sligh had three hits. Thomas Whittock recorded several putouts at first base.
Parent's Press Mets 4, Pacific Bay Electric Scrappers 2: For the Scrappers, Justice Reed (2B, RBI), Julian Munoz (1B, RBI) and Anders Viaux (3B) paced the offense.
Claremont Behavioral Services Owlz 2, El Caballo Wraps Aeros 1: For the Owlz, Nael Flores led the offense with a single and two RBIs. Luke Walker and Luke Beales each had a hit each and both played solid defense. Aeros Emmett Kotapish added a line drive single and had several putouts at first base. Zackary Williams caught an infield fly to end an inning and Peyton Schlader had a key run-scoring single.
Maureen Shandobil Raptors 10, El Caballo Wraps Aeros 8: The Aeros' Yasser Ahmadzoah had a key hit to start a rally. Zackary Williams caught an infield fly and pitcher Naeem Qarish turned in several nice plays. The Raptors offense was powered by Cole Aney (2 2B) and Marco Garcia (3 1B). Ian Shaw made an outstanding catch and also threw out a runner from shortstop, while Tyler Ma was solid behind the plate.
Pacifc Bay Electric Scrappers 13, Claremont Behavioral Services Owlz 12: For the Owlz, Nolan Shultz (1B, RBI), Nael Flores (2 for 3, RBI) and T.J. Canalin (2 1B) paced the offense and also turned in strong defense. The Scrappers had key hits from Dasan Aguilera, Nicholas Williams and John Jelks. Anders Vieaux made a rare unassisted triple play.
King of Thai Noodle House Tin Caps 9, Blue Dot Cafe Volcanoes 8: The Volcanoes' Erik Soltero had a standout day at pitcher, while James Witherspoon made a key stop at third. Soltero and Witherspoon also contributed hits at the plate. For the Tincaps, Coleman Crotty hit three singles and turned in solid defense. Keanu Hennings and Jack Carlisle both went 3 for 3 with a double.
Kelly Lux Insurance Iron Birds 17, Maureen Shandobil Raptors 9: The Raptors were led by the solid defense and hustle of Sophia Stento and Marco Garcia. Tyler Ma and Santiago Enanoria showed off their hitting skills with two hits apiece.
Blue Dot Cafe Volcanoes 15, Claremont Behavioral Services Owlz 8: For the Volcanoes, Isaac Sullivan played an all-around great game while Sam Paskins went 3 for 3 at the plate. Jack Hume recorded all three outs in the fifth inning. The Owlz had key hits from Mateo Delgado, Will Roizen, Dimitri Dimitrov, and Zachary Patterson-Golay (2B).
TMS Automotive Yankees, Charles Schwab Blue Jays: For the Yankees, Sebastian Brune had two hits to pace the offense, while Gabriel Paz y Mino made a strong throw to Grayson Nguyen at first for an out. Derrick Raymundo and Kento Tsuji led the Jays defense with outs from second base and the pitcher.
Yojimbo Sushi Marlins vs Advisory Consulting Rockies: For the Rockies, Will Jensen made an unassisted out at third. Robbie Stebbins turned in several nice plays at pitcher and shortstop, and Ryan McCalmont made a strong throw, from right field to first base, for an out. For the Marlins, Kellan Fogarty had strong at-bats and several RBIs. Tyler Chang had two hits with great hustle around the bases.
Alameda Collision Repair Giants vs. Charles Schwab Blue Jays: Alameda Little League Publicity Giants' Amaru Guerra slammed a single into right field while Lana Schullstrom and Marcus Casaes both tagged runners out at second and third bases. Blue Jays' Lucas Araujo homered while Eva Biczinsky had a solo putout at first and pitcher Thomas Schreiner made some great throws to third base.
Ocean's Halo Twins vs. Guaranteed Rate Orioles: For the Twins, Oskar Gil crushed a double and Sammy Lovering contributed two hits. Reed Hoadley-Wetstone played great defense at first base. For the Orioles, Declan McFarland showed tremendous hustle while Luke Saum, Isaiah 'Izzy' Werdmuller and Jacob Wong collected key hits.
Littler Mendelsohn Giants vs. Litho Process A's: The Giants were led with strong play in the infield by Ethan Thai, multiple hits by Reed McGowan, and stellar base running by Fiona Connolly. For the A's, Giovanni Perry-Hunt played heads-up defense, while Bennett Dalton (HR) and Mia Wong paced the offense.
Yojimbo Mets vs. MJS Web Solutions Dodgers: The Mets saw hits from Justin Lilly and Darun Roth. For the Dodgers, Diego Leung led the offense while infielders Alek Roubos and Noah Nonato showed off their arms with strong throws to first base.
Bladium Crossfit Braves vs. Shooting Stars Phillies: For the
Phillies, Kance Tran, Mason Daon and Sullivan Glick had solid base hits. Kai Lucero made a great catch at second base and first baseman Ihlan Rodriguez combined with pitcher Conner Stack for three consecutive putouts. Finn Thornton anchored the defense with multiple stops in the infield.
Yojimbo Mets vs. Cerda-Zein Real Estate Cubs: The Mets had nice hustle and multiple hits from Connor Tse-Harris and Isidor Tatarevic. The Cubs had key hits from Roman Funes Takhtamanov, Garrett Boone, Om Mahalingam, and Brandon Ng. Chase and Dylan Gray along with Nolan Chisolm and Leia Harris all made terrific plays for the Pirates.
ASC Olympians 3, Piedmont Toxic Gummy Bears 1: Midfielder Leo Meyers scored his first of two goals in the Olympians' victory with good foot technique and aggressive play. The Olympians' Benjamin Gibson scored his goal during an offensive press that the Toxic Gummy Bears were unable to stop. The defensive play of James Zou Jr. and Mitchell Fong secured the win.

Alameda Islanders '03 White 2, Dublin Dynamite 2: Centerback Hailey Pallister anchored a strong Islander defense that held the Dynamite to two goals. Islander forward Scarlett Corbally tied the match with her first of two goals on a superb pass from midfielder Talula Wilmot to end the first half. Corbally's second goal put the Islanders ahead until the final minutes of the match. Goalkeeper Averie Martin was superb in blocking shots but the Dynamite found the net on a rebound to tie the match.
The Pixies 3, Piedmont Tigers 0: Joanne Lee scored twice and Sadie Merry scored the final goal in the first half of a shutout victory over the Tigers. Strong defense was played by Allison Kwon and Rose Denery. Controlling the midfield were Kristen Suh and Amy Park, while Caitlyn MacAskill and Ammina Huffman insured secured the shutout in goal. With the win the Pixies are now 1-0-1.
