  • STOLEN AUTO -- Someone stole a vehicle from the 1000 block of Gilman Street.

  • THEFT -- Someone stole less than $950 worth of items from a location in the 800 block of Page Street.

    SATURDAY, APRIL 5

  • THEFT -- Someone stole less than $950 worth of items from a location in the 2000 block of Shattuck Avenue.

  • THEFT FROM AUTO -- Someone stole items from a vehicle in the 600 block of Arlington Avenue.

    SUNDAY, APRIL 6

  • THEFT FROM RESIDENCE -- Someone burglarized a home in the 1800 block of Walnut Street.

    MONDAY, APRIL 7

  • ROBBERY -- At 8:08 a.m., a woman entered a store in the 1400 block of Shattuck Avenue, filled a large bag with meat and left without paying. The woman threatened an employee who confronted her and then drove off in a waiting white Toyota Corolla.

  • ATTACK -- Shortly after 10:30 a.m., a male suspect, 41, was arrested and is now charged with such crimes as attempted murder, battery on an officer, robbery and resisting arrest after police caught up with him in the lagoon at Aquatic Park. Police initially had responded to a call that the suspect was on a roof in the 600 block of Bancroft Way trying to ignite something. He became violent when the officer tried to detain him, punching and kicking him in the head repeatedly, causing injuries. The officer also lost consciousness momentarily. The suspect, who at one point tried to get the officer's gun, then ran off to the lagoon where he was apprehended.

  • THEFT FROM RESIDENCE -- Someone burglarized a home in the 1500 block of Hearst Avenue.

  • COMMERCIAL CRIME -- Someone burglarized a business in the 1500 block of Hopkins Street.

  • THEFT -- Items worth less than $950 were stolen from locations in the 1700 block of Marin Avenue, the 1600 block of Oxford Street and the 2100 block of Vine Street.

  • THEFT FROM AUTO -- Items were stolen from vehicles at Euclid and Hearst avenues and the 1900 block of Martin Luther King, Jr. Way.

    TUESDAY, APRIL 8

  • THEFT FROM RESIDENCE -- Someone burglarized a home in the 1800 block of Delaware Street.

  • COMMERCIAL CRIME -- Someone burglarized a business in the 1500 block of Shattuck Avenue.

  • GRAND THEFT -- Someone stole more than $950 worth of items from a location in the 2200 block of Shattuck Avenue.

  • THEFT -- Items worth less than $950 were stolen from locations at King and 63rd streets and the 2000 block of Kittredge Street.

  • THEFT FROM AUTO -- Someone stole items from a vehicle in the 2200 block of Blake Street.

    WEDNESDAY, APRIL 9

  • GRAND THEFT -- Someone stole more than $950 worth of items from a location in the 1000 block of Ashby Avenue.

  • THEFT -- Items worth less than $950 were stolen from locations in the 2100 block of Shattuck Avenue and in the 1600 and 2000 blocks of University Avenue.

  • THEFT FROM AUTO -- Someone stole items from a vehicle at Fifth Street and Hearst Avenue.

    THURSDAY, APRIL 10

  • THEFT FROM RESIDENCE -- Someone burglarized a home in the 900 block of Delaware Street.

  • STOLEN AUTO -- Vehicles were stolen at Bancroft Way and Piedmont Avenue and the 2700 block of Belrose Avenue.

  • GRAND THEFT -- Someone stole more than $950 worth of items from a location in the 1400 block of Ninth Street.

  • THEFT -- Items worth less than $950 were stolen from two locations in the 2300 block of Shattuck Avenue.

  • THEFT FROM AUTO -- Items were stolen from vehicles in the 2400 block of Durant Avenue; at Dwight and Panoramic ways; in the 300 block of Halkin Lane; the 200 block of Tanglewood Road; and the 1000 block of University Avenue.
