Major Black Division

Amador Valley Optometry 11, Baron's Jewelers 5: For Amador Valley Optometry, Aliya Lubrin went 3 for 3 with a triple and two RBIs. Jaylah Abello and Samantha Santana both went 2 for 3. Baron's Jewelers tried to keep the game close with hits from Nikki Thornton (2 for 3, RBI), Vanessa Zapata (2 for 2) and Breanna Chi (1 for 2, RBI).

Mini Black Division

California Business Technology 12, Kota Networks 6: In the first game of the season without "coach pitch," Rachel Tanis threw 12 strikeouts in five innings for California Business Technology. Kelly Fietz hit two singles and drove in two runs, while Sammy Madsen added a two-run single. For Kota Networks, Andrea Gregory pitched a good game and added a key single, and Sara Krake added a two-run single.

Minor Teal Division

WomanInjuredAtWork.com 11, Bentek Solar 8: Top players for WomanInjuredAtWork.com were Olga Merkadeau, Kealy Morrissey, Darina Wolfe. For Bentek Solar, Deja Clark, Kylie Pfotenhauer and Lexi Valentine were top players.

Mini Teal Division

Kids and Teen World 8, Dick's Sporting Goods 7: Kids and Teen World edged out a one-run victory over Dick's Sporting Goods thanks to key hits by Maddie Cheung (2 for 2, 2 R) and Lindsay Hill (2 for 2, 2 R). Defensively, Lois Sotos turned an unassisted double play at first. For Dick's Sporting Goods, Kaylynn Vahey (2 1B) and Sheridan Wang (3 for 3, 2B) paced the offense.

Vagaro 6, Handles Gastropub 5: Handles Gastropub took the lead in the fith inning but Vagaro battled back and scored two runs to come-from-behind to win the game. For Handles Gastropub, Amya Menniti delivered two doubles and drove in two runs on the day. Sydney Voorhees pitched two strong innings to go along with two putouts and two hits. Imoen Bradley played good defense, catching a line drive and recording a putout. For Vagaro, Abigail Gerber's three hits provided the offense. Emma Buttafoco delivered a hard hit single and also saved a run with a hustle play in left field. Nyla Helou drove in the winning run with an RBI single.

Vagaro 5, B&S Hacienda Auto Body 1: Vagaro led off with three runs in the first inning which proved the difference as both teams clamped down with strong pitching and defense the rest of the way. For B&S Hacienda Auto Body, third baseman Makena Scott fired the ball to Ava Marie Perry at second base for an out at second, while right fielder Keira O'Brien saved at least one run after backing up an overthrow. Trixie Ramirez and Gwen Chan's strong pitching kept the game close, both contributed two hits. Sarah Thach added two hits and also turned in a great play on a tough fly ball.

Micro White Division

Bringhome.scentsy.us vs Land Home Financial: For Bringhome.scentsy.us, Georgie August put on a defensive show, snagging a hard-hit ground ball for an out at third. Lauren Tran got the bats going with a line drive single up the middle, and Ella Kuipers drove in a run on with a single down the third base line. For Land Home Financial, Kellianah Maratita-Banks had a solid hit and Sydney Stark followed with a sharp ground ball past the shortstop for a single. Clara Song kept the rally going with an RBI single to left field.

T-Ball Division

Tim McGuire/Alain Pinel Realtors vs 4LEAF, Inc.: Kameiyah DePerio and Aisling Duggan had big hits for 4LEAF, Inc., while Amelia Umentum anchored the defense with strong play in the outfield. Kassidy was stellar at pitcher for Tim McGuire/Alain Pinel Realtors, while Sophia Valle and Vanessa Rodriguez paced the offense with key hits.
