Meet Cutie, a loving 1-year-old, 11-pound pup who will make a wonderfully gentle family pet. She is a moderately active young dog who enjoys cuddling and ear scratches as well as walks around the neighborhood. She previously lived in a home with small children and another dog. Cutie might even be able to live peacefully in a home with dog-savvy cats if properly introduced.
Meet Merida, a lovely 2-year-old who is a little unsure of this adoption thing, but when she's had the chance to settle in, take stock of her surroundings and de-stress a little, she's sweet as a button. Merida won't jump in your lap right away, but after a proper introduction she'll be deeply devoted to a lucky few people for the rest of her life.
Here's what her foster says: "Once transitioned she becomes the outgoing social cat seen in the shelter. She's still hyper aware and easily startled and will run and hide if she feel it is necessary. She appears to be very trainable and likes people enough to want to be around them most of the time. And she doesn't seem like she has a problem with dogs."
Merida will do well in a quiet adult household, after a proper introduction.
