Piedmont Scots 19, Orinda 6: Adam Porter threw six efficient innings to lead the Scots over Orinda. Hitting stars included Andrew Newell, Jonathan Dinetz, and Sam Von Herrmann.
Piedmont Scots 27, Orinda 18: The Scots offense exploded to capture the second game of a double-header against Orinda. Ryan Fitzgerald pitched four strong, and also led the offense with three hits. Owen Levinson and Patrick Aebi both added two hits in a 12-run sixth inning.
Piedmont Scots 12, Orinda 6: E.J. Cheung pitched four strong innings to lead the Scots to a three-game sweep of Orinda. Patrick Aebi had three hits to lead the offense, while Patrick Filler anchored the defense with two great catches, and Nathan Johnson pitched two strong innings to close out the game.
Piedmont Walking Red 11, Piedmont Iron Pigs 6: The Red jumped out to an early lead with solid hits by Luke Harris, Cal Barna, and Ben Levinson. Spencer Stein capped the scoring with a deep home run. Levinson, Harris, and Jordan Hunt pitched well. For the Pigs, Finneas Patterson and Will Shields both hit long balls to pace the offense.
Piedmont Walking Red 7, Moraga 5: Jordan Hunt, Julian Scherman, Robert Epstein, and Luca Valdez-Kaminsky all pitched well to lead the Red over Moraga. Nathan Reese, Henry Marchant, Soren Call, and Siggy Lipansky led the offense.
Piedmont Reds 17, Piedmont Giants 17: Nate Hart was Player of the Game for the Reds, as he reached base four times and assisted on four put-outs as they battled the Giants to a tie. Torsten Olsen had a big day at the plate and on the base paths, earning the Charlie Hustle award. Andrew McLaughlin hit a home run and provided veteran leadership, while Ben Elmquist tripled and continued his hot hitting as did Tavian Roberts. Several Giants had a big day at the plate, including Tyler Barsi, John Cumbelich, and Mitchell Lee.
OGSL Rebels 19, Piedmont Dragons 8: The Dragons' defense was unable shut down the Rebel's offensive power. Addie Darden led the Dragons offense with a two-run double. Teammates Anna Smegal, Katie Gustke and Sofia Whitley also contributed hits, with Smegal and Darden each scoring twice. For the Rebels, Hayley Dennings hit a triple, while Jordon Klein, Casey Levitt, and Gabby Plue pitched well.
Piedmont Purple Pony Express 6, Alameda Goblins 0: Eve Tellegen made a sparkling defensive play as she and Leah Bell both made their pitching debut. The Express won on the strength of two RBI each from Hanna Ward (2 for 3), Margaret Weaver (3B) and Morgan Hunt (HR).
Piedmont Silver Dolphins 6, Oakland Red Vines 1: The Silver Dolphins were impressive on offense, with six runs on 14 hits. Julia White led the team with two hits and two RBI. Mina Handelsman also had a notable game, going 2 for 2 at the plate and contributing to a key force out at second base in the first inning. Meanwhile, Lucy Filler, Annabel Castronovo and Clare Murphy shared pitching duties and allowed just one run.
