A traffic stop on Oak Street led to the arrest of a juvenile after he fled from the vehicle and tossed a loaded firearm into bushes before he was detained, police said.

Two men who were traveling with him were also arrested during the incident, which happened just after 8 p.m. Saturday in the 1800 block of the street.

The juvenile was arrested on suspicion of resisting or obstructing police, as well as firearm and other charges. One of the men with him, who is age 23, was booked on suspicion of violating his probation and parole. The other man, 18, was arrested after a background check revealed he was wanted on an outstanding felony warrant.

TUESDAY, MAY 13

  • RESIDENTIAL BURGLARY -- A residential burglary was reported at 11 a.m. in the 1800 block of Cambridge Drive. Another burglary was reported about 11:55 a.m. in the 1900 block of Schiller Street, where someone attempted to break into the victim's locked bedroom, police said.

  • VEHICLE THEFT -- Vehicles were reported stolen about 8:55 p.m. in the 3200 block of Fairview Avenue; just before 10 p.m. in the 2200 block of Alameda South Shore Center; and about 10:10 p.m. in the 2500 block of Clement Avenue.

    WEDNESDAY, MAY 14

  • MARIJUANA POSSESSION -- Officers dispatched to investigate a disturbance in the 2100 block of Lincoln Avenue arrested two men, both 18, on suspicion of possessing less than one ounce of marijuana. It happened about 11:45 p.m.

    THURSDAY, MAY 15

  • VEHICLE THEFT -- A vehicle was reported stolen about 7:25 p.m. in the 2300 block of Blanding Avenue.

    FRIDAY, MAY 16

  • RECOVERED STOLEN VEHICLE -- Police recovered a vehicle reported stolen to BART police in the 2100 block of Alameda South Shore Center about 2:50 a.m.

  • VEHICLE THEFT -- A vehicle was reported stolen about 8:20 a.m. from a parking garage in the 2100 block of Santa Clara Avenue, where about an hour later police received a separate report that other property was stolen from the location. Another vehicle was reported stolen about 10:20 a.m. in the 1900 block of North Loop Road.

    SATURDAY, MAY 17

  • PUBLIC INTOXICATION -- A 49-year-old man arrested for public intoxication was allegedly in possession of someone else's identification, police said. The man, who faces a charge of possessing stolen property, was arrested about 1:35 a.m. in the 1300 block of Park Street.

  • DRUNKEN DRIVING -- Police arrested a man, 44, on suspicion of drunken driving about 3:20 a.m. in the 1500 block of Central Avenue.

  • VEHICLE THEFT -- A vehicle was reported stolen at 10:45 a.m. in the 2000 block of Encinal Avenue.

  • DRUG PARAPHERNALIA -- A woman, 19, who officers initially contacted while investigating a disturbance, was drunk and in possession of suspected drug paraphernalia, police said. The paraphernalia was found while the woman, who was arrested at 7:05 p.m. in the 1600 block of Park Street, was being booked at Santa Rita Jail.

    SUNDAY, MAY 18

  • DRUNKEN DRIVING -- Police arrested a woman, 32, on suspicion of drunken driving following a traffic stop about 2:45 a.m. in the 1600 block of Park Street.

  • VEHICLE THEFT -- A vehicle was reported stolen just before 3 a.m. in the 1300 block of Park Street. Vehicles were also reported stolen at 12:35 p.m. in the 2000 block of San Jose Avenue and at 8:40 p.m. in the 800 block of Marina Village Parkway.

  • INDECENT EXPOSURE -- An indecent exposure was reported just after 11 a.m. on Santa Clara Avenue, where a man exposed himself to female victim as she passed him on the sidewalk, police said.

  • PUBLIC INTOXICATION -- Officers dispatched to Jackson Park to investigate a disturbance arrested two men in the 1100 block of Park Avenue on suspicion of public intoxication. One man is 49. The second man, 46, was also booked on suspicion of violating his probation. The arrests occurred about 2:50 p.m., police said.
