ANTIOCH -- A man found shot at an intersection last week died two days after the incident, and an Antioch man has been arrested for his death, police said Tuesday.

Justin Henry Kroh, 28, died Saturday around 3:25 a.m., two days after police found him at the corner of 17th and C streets motionless from a gunshot wound, Antioch police Lt. Anthony Morefield. Authorities say Kroh was a transient.

Later Saturday, police arrested Erick Santiago Granados, 23, on suspicion of second-degree murder. Police did not give any details regarding the arrest, nor did they say whether the two men knew each other.

The investigation is ongoing, police said, and Morefield said no more details would be released.

Kroh is the city's seventh homicide victim of the year, all of them coming since April 8.
