  • PETTY THEFT -- Property was stolen overnight from a residence in the 800 block of Carmel Avenue.

  • AUTO BREAK-IN -- A car was burgled overnight in the 500 block of Pierce Street.

  • HOME BREAK-IN -- A residence in the 1000 block of Peralta Avenue was broken into and items stolen.

  • HOME BREAK-IN -- At 7:30 p.m. a resident in the 800 block of Solano Avenue reported a home burglary.

  • PETTY THEFT -- During the evening someone took items from Safeway Store in the 1500 block of Solano Avenue without paying for them.

    WEDNESDAY, Aug 22

  • ASSAULT -- At 4 p.m. officers responded to a report of battery on Brighton Avenue near San Pablo Avenue.

  • PETTY THEFT -- A resident in the 1000 block of Talbot Avenue called at 4 p.m. to report items stolen.

  • HOME BREAK-IN -- A residence was burglarized in the 1100 block of Marin Avenue.

  • DOUBLE DUTY -- There were two incidents of petty theft in the 600 block of Madison Street.

  • THEFT -- A resident in the 900 block of Evelyn Avenue reported petty theft.

  • THEFT -- Property was stolen overnight from a residence in the 1200 block of Solano Avenue.

  • ROBBERY -- At 3:30 p.m. officers investigated reports of a robbery near Evelyn and Brighton avenues.

  • HOME BREAK-IN -- Shortly after midnight officers responded to reports of a home break-in in the 1000 block of Cornell Avenue.
