CONCORD -- Police found a man who was stabbed in the leg on Clayton Road on Sunday night, but he declined medical treatment and changed his account several times as police interviewed him.
The 39-year-old Concord resident was located in a parking lot near the intersection of Clayton Road and Roslyn Drive just after 9 p.m., adjacent to the Red Dragon Bar, according to Concord Police Sgt. Cody Harrison. He was stabbed in the lower leg and had several abrasions on his hands.
As officers interviewed the man, he changed his story and even offered two distinct descriptions of his attacker, Harrison said. The man refused medical treatment and was allowed to go.
