CONCORD -- A bicyclist was injured when she was hit by a car in Concord on Monday morning, a police spokeswoman said.
At about 10:20 a.m., a 54-year-old woman was riding her bike east on the westbound side of Monument Boulevard at Oak Grove Road when she was struck by a silver Honda Accord, Concord police Lt. Robin Heinemann said.
The woman was taken to a hospital with a compound fracture to her left leg, according to Heinemann.
Heinemann said it appears the bicyclist was at fault for the collision.
