HAYWARD -- Teens throwing rocks at a moving BART train shattered two windows Tuesday, causing a cut to a woman's hand from the flying glass, a passenger said.
About 3:45 p.m., a Fremont-bound train was traveling through Hayward when a train operator saw teenage boys throw rocks that struck and broke the train's windows, Officer Era Jenkins said.
The shattered glass struck a woman, cutting her hand, said a passenger who declined being named.
No arrests were made and no suspect description is available, Jenkins said.
BART police said they received no reports of injuries but asked any harmed passengers to file a report with the transit agency.
