CONCORD -- Landana Drive near Mulberry will be closed until at least 8 p.m. while crews work to repair a damaged power line, police reported.
According to PG&E, a tree came down on the power lines, damaging the equipment at the top of the electrical pole. The lines were damaged but not broken.
As of 7:30 p.m., 66 PG&E customers were without power in the area off Concord Boulevard, down from 785 when the incident occurred at 12:45 p.m., officials said. Power is expected to be restored to all customers by 7:45 p.m.
A detour has been set up, and motorists are advised to find alternate routes.
