RICHMOND -- An argument between two brothers Sunday escalated to a fistfight before one brother got a gun from his bedroom and shot at the other, police said.
No one was injured.
The incident was reported just after 2 p.m. in the 600 block of South 20th Street, according to Richmond police Lt. Shawn Pickett. One brother became upset with the other after he spilled breakfast syrup in the kitchen.
The brothers argued, then got into a fistfight, Pickett said. The suspect then went into a backroom in the house, came back with a handgun, and told his brother he was going to kill him, firing one shot but missing.
The suspect left the house with the gun; he was last seen heading toward Cutting Boulevard. No description was available.
