The wait to carry the Olympic torch is almost over for Kylan Nieh of Fremont.
The former Mission San Jose High School student body president will jog with the flame Wednesday in Andover, England.
He will carry the torch for about 320 yards, and his run can be viewed live at www.london2012.com/torch-relay/video/live.html.
Nieh is scheduled to run at 8:38 a.m. PDT (4:38 p.m. in England). His torchbearer number is 91.
"I am curious to see how heavy the torch is," Nieh said last month. "I think it's going to be a crazy day."
Nieh, who graduated from high school in 2010 and now attends UC Berkeley, was among 22 "inspiring Americans" chosen by Coca-Cola to carry the torch this month as part of the soft-drink company's positive-living program.
The list of torchbearers includes 10 teenagers, former Olympic stars Michelle Kwan and Summer Sanders, and fitness guru Jake Steinfeld. They were nominated by peers, teachers and leaders of youth organizations.
