Drivers headed through the rural parts of eastern Contra Costa County should expect delays this week as county construction crews will be doing repairs.

Maintenance crews with the county's Public Works department will be grinding out and repaving failed sections of road on Camino Diablo, Brentwood Boulevard, Byron Highway and Deer Valley Road.

Work will be done from 7 a.m. through 6 p.m. until Friday.

Motorists can expect delays and are advised to take alternate routes.
