OAKLAND -- A man suffered minor injuries from gunfire late Friday evening but police said the shooting may have been accidental.
The incident was reported at about 11 p.m. in the 2600 block of 73rd Avenue near Garfield Avenue in East Oakland, authorities said.
The man, whose name was not released, drove himself to a hospital to be treated for his injuries, which are not considered life threatening, police said.
Police are investigating if the man was attacked or accidentally shot himself.
