LIVERMORE -- Police were called to hotel Sunday morning after a man was found dead in a room.

The man, identified only as a middle-aged white male, was found in a first-floor room by a worker around 11 a.m. at the Doubletree Hotel on Las Flores Road.

There were no "overly obvious" signs of foul play, according to Livermore police Officer Traci Rebeijo, but the death was being treated as suspicious until the Alameda County Coroner's Office could make a ruling on the cause of death.
