Contra Costa County Supervisor Federal Glover invites residents to apply to serve on advisory panels covering a wide range of activities.

Glover's District V covers the cities of Hercules, Martinez and Pittsburg; parts of the cities of Antioch and Pinole; and the unincorporated areas of Alhambra Valley, Bay Point, Briones, Clyde, Crockett, Mount View, Pacheco, Port Costa, Reliez Valley, Rodeo, Tormey and Vine Hill.

All but two of the panels meet once a month.

Seats on the following panels are available to residents throughout Glover's district.

  • Alcohol and Other Drugs Advisory Committee, three seats; meets in Martinez on the fourth Wednesday of each month. Contact Fatima Matal Sol at 925-335-3307.

  • Emergency Medical Care Committee, one alternate seat; meets in Pleasant Hill on the second Wednesday of March, June, September and December. Contact Juliene Latteri at 925-646-4690.

  • Contra Costa County Mental Health Commission, one consumer seat and one family member seat; meets in Concord on the fourth Thursday of each month. Contact Karen Schuler at 925-957-5140.

    Seats on the following panels are available to residents of specific communities:

  • County Service Area M-16 Citizens Advisory Committee in Clyde, one regular seat and two alternate seats; meets as needed. Contact Lynn Reichard-Enea at 925-335-8200.
