BERKELEY -- East Bay residents with little or no health insurance are invited to a free one-day health clinic Aug. 11 in San Pablo Park where they can get their teeth cleaned, their vision checked and be screened for diabetes and high blood pressure.

The health fair, from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m., is sponsored by LifeLong Medical Care and the office of state Assembly member Nancy Skinner.

Patient advocates will be available to enroll people in programs offered through the Affordable Care Act.
