CONCORD -- A male victim was stabbed and his MP3 player snatched while driving through a Concord Jack in the Box Tuesday night, a Concord police sergeant said Friday.

The stabbing-robbery was reported at 10 p.m. when the victim arrived at a hospital with stab wounds from the incident at the Jack in the Box restaurant's drive-through at 1710 Monument Blvd., police Sgt. Jeff Krieger said.

The victim told officers he was sitting in a car at the restaurant's drive-through when he was approached by two males, Krieger said.

One of the suspects reached into the victim's car and grabbed his MP3 player while the other pulled out a knife and stabbed the victim in the upper body, the sergeant said.

The suspects then fled and the victim's friend drove him to the hospital, where he was treated for injuries that were not considered life-threatening, Krieger said.

The victim did not know the suspects, who were described as two Hispanic males between the ages of 16 and 19, according to police.

The first suspect was about 5 feet 9 inches tall with a thin build. He had dark side burns and a goatee and was wearing jeans and a dark hooded sweatshirt, according to Krieger.

The second suspect was about 5 foot 8 with black, wavy shoulder-length hair. He was seen wearing a black shirt, police said.
