OAKLAND -- One person was wounded in a shooting Sunday night on the north side of Lake Merritt.

Officers responded to the call near the intersection of Grand and Euclid avenues around 8:44 p.m., according to Officer J. Moore.

The adult male was transported to a hospital in stable condition, Moore said. No suspect was arrested and no description of the shooter was immediately released.
