Officers responded to a shooting early this morning that left one person dead and another injured in downtown Oakland.

Two victims were shot in the 1900 block of San Pablo Avenue around 12:35 a.m., Officer C. Del Rosario said.

Both victims were transported to the hospital. One victim sustained a gunshot wound and the other victim was pronounced dead, Del Rosario said.

No suspect information was immediately available this morning.
