The guys in Green Day are a bunch of pigs.
The East Bay band is getting its own version of "Angry Birds," with a 10-level edition of the popular game.
Each of the group's three members -- Billie Joe Armstrong, Mike Dirnt and Tre Cool -- has been re-imagined as a pig for the Rovio game. Fans will be able to unlock a new Green Day song, "Troublemaker," while playing the themed "Angry Birds" edition.
Armstrong said in a statement the whole band plays the mobile game. "It's such an addictive game that when we first started playing it we couldn't stop."
A trailer for the collaboration was released Monday, features snap shots of the game set to Green Day's latest single, "Oh Love."
There's no official release date for the game, but it's expected to be out this fall.
Green Day is currently recording a trio of releases, "¡Uno!," "¡Dos!" and "¡Tre!," the first of which hits shelves Sept. 25. The video for "Oh Love," the first single, was released last week.
