CASTRO VALLEY -- Authorities have issued a warrant for a suspect they say robbed a man at gunpoint after responding to an online advertisement the victim posted on Craigslist.

Jerrell Hill, 18, of Vallejo, is wanted on suspicion of armed robbery by the Alameda County Sheriff's Office in connection to an Aug. 15 armed robbery that took place outside a San Lorenzo Starbucks, Sgt. J.D. Nelson said Friday.

Deputies responded to the call at the business at 15600 Hesperian Blvd., after the victim told them he met a man in the parking lot there to sell his Macbook Pro.

When the victim arrived a man pulled out a gun, took the victim's computer and then fled, Nelson said.

The victim described his assailant to deputies. He was later shown a photo line-up and then positively identified the suspect as Hill, Nelson said.

Anyone with information about Hill's whereabouts is asked to call Alameda County Sheriff's Office at 510-667-3602 or the anonymous tip line: 510-667-3622
