OAKLAND -- A man shot to death Thursday afternoon inside an East Oakland apartment was identified by police Friday as Anthony Green, 33.
Green was fatally shot about 2 p.m. inside an apartment in the 2300 block of East 22nd Street. He was pronounced dead at the scene.
The apartment belongs to a relative of Green's but it was not clear if he was also living there or visiting. Police would not say if anyone other than the gunman was present when the shooting happened. No one else was reported injured.
Investigators don't have a motive yet for the killing and no arrests have been made.
