OAKLAND -- A person is expected to live after being shot in East Oakland Friday night, police said.
Officers responded to a call just after 11:05 p.m. in the 1100 block of 73rd Avenue near the Oakland Coliseum, Officer Kevin McDonald said.
The victim, who was shot outside by a known suspect, was transported to a local hospital and was listed in stable condition, McDonald said.
As of Saturday morning no arrests had been made and a motive for the shootings was not known.
