I'm still really excited to see "Batman Live."

The show, a theatrical spectacle that is tantamount to a really good comic book come to life, opens Thursday and runs through Sunday at HP Pavilion.

In all, "Batman Live" will show eight times at San Jose venue -- 7:30 p.m. Sept. 20-21; 11 a.m., 3 and 7 p.m. Sept. 22-23. Tickets are $41-$122.50 (http://www.ticketmaster.com/).
